Production Supervisor

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year  

HOURS: 5 days/week including Saturday, with Tuesday or Wednesday, and Sundays off. Shifts start typically at 6am and run 8-10 hours, with mandatory overtime as the daily schedule requires.  *Must be available to work Saturdays. 

Located in Cohoes NY, Bilinski’s Sausage Mfg Co. (a leader in producing high-quality, all-natural sausages) is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our 1st Shift production operations. Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the team in the production area; fill in for key positions on the line if needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production and packaging operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Inventory) to plan proactively and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading teams as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification (e.g., HACCP) and education is a plus.
