Smokehouse Operator
Bilinski's Sausage Mfg. Co. is seeking a Smokehouse Operator for our fully cooked chicken sausage manufacturing operation in Cohoes, NY
Requirements include but are not limited to:

Rolling large carts of hanging sausages (weighing ~500 lbs) into and out of smokehouses
Tracking and recording cook times and temperatures
Tracking and recording chill down time and temperatures
Rotating racks of product efficiently to keep pace with our assembly and production lines
Coordinating with the room supervisor on the schedule for the day
Cleaning and inspecting the smokehouses and smokehouse area before and after daily production
Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions
Ability to fill in other key positions (such as spice blending) as needed
Rate: $22/hour going to $23/hr after 90 days (probationary period).
Plus an additional $1 shift differential for Saturday work!

Hours: 6am-4pm plus mandatory overtime as the daily schedule requires. Must be able to work a Saturday shift.
NOTE: We have a no facial hair policy and no jewelry policy for all production and warehouse positions

Production Lead (Thursday & Sunday off)
Bilinski Sausage Mfg. Co. in Cohoes, NY is seeking a production line leader for our production operations to lead a team of 6-10 employees in fast paced food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
*Meeting production efficiency goals
*Motivating team members
*Ensuring compliance with dress code, on-time starts, and sanitation for the line
*Completing all batch paperwork and making sure all product packaging specifications are met
*Filling in for key line positions when needed
The right candidate is experienced with production machinery (preferably food machinery) and food handling.  Must have great attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and have a team player attitude.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday / 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, ability to stay until production is completed is mandatory.  Starting pay rate $25 p/hr. Plus an additional $1 shift differential!
Rate: $25 per hour
Plus an additional $1 shift differential for Saturday work!
