Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Service Order Processor to join our team. This role combines the critical functions of processing customer orders accurately and analyzing supply chain operations to optimize performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing
Accurately process and manage customer orders from receipt to delivery.
Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
Address and resolve order-related issues, such as delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and shipments in the company’s system.
Monitor ordering trends and communicate with sales and production teams of deviations, upward or downward customer trends.
Supply Chain Analysis
Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance metrics, including inventory levels, production schedules, and transportation costs.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
Develop and present data-driven insights and recommendations to streamline operations.
Support demand forecasting and inventory planning by analyzing historical data and market trends.
Collaboration and Reporting
Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align operations with business goals.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate key supply chain metrics to management.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in order processing, supply chain management, or logistics.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
