Assistant Smokehouse Cook - 1st Shift

Rate: $20.00 per hour

HOURS: 

1st SHIFT - Mon. - Fri. 6:00am until 3:00pm or finished with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires. Weekends off.

Bilinski's Sausage Mfg. Co. is seeking Assistant Smokehouse Operators or our fully cooked chicken sausage manufacturing operation in Cohoes, NY

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Rolling large carts of hanging sausages (weighing ~500 lbs) into and out of our Kitchen & Processing Areas
• Tracking and recording oven cook times and temperatures
• Tracking and recording chill down time and temperatures
• Rotating racks of product efficiently to keep pace with our assembly and production lines
• Coordinating with the room supervisor on the schedule for the day
• Cleaning and inspecting the Kitchen and Smokehouse areas before and after daily production
• Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions
• Ability to fill in other key positions (such as spice blending) as needed
