Bilinski Sausage Mfg. Co. in Cohoes, NY, seeks a Line Lead for our 1st & 2nd Shifts Packaging Operations (Cohoes, NY). If you are passionate about food production, ensuring quality, and leading a team, we want to hear from you!

Production Lead

Pay is weekly - $23.00 per/hr

HOURS: 1st SHIFT - Mon. - Fri. 5:45am to 3:00pm or until finished with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires.

2nd SHIFT - Mon. - Fri. 2:30pm to 11:30pm or finished with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires.

**(plus $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd Shift ONLY) Weekends off.

The right candidate is experienced in production packaging machinery (preferably food machinery) and handling. Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and have a team player attitude.

Responsibilities include:

*Meeting packaging efficiency goals

*Motivating team members

*Ensuring compliance with dress code, on-time starts, and sanitation for the line

*Completing all batch paperwork and making sure all product packaging specifications are met

*Filling in for key line positions when needed

*Organizing and preparing all supplies, including labels and packaging materials

Requirements:

Proven experience leading teams as a Production Lead or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification (e.g., HACCP) and education is a plus.
